塹壕と視発室（孤器室）弧器室は方位測定を行う場所。衛所で敵艦を確認すると、弧器室で視発弧器(照準器)で方位測定を行い、敷設水雷と敵艦との位置関係を求め、敵艦位置と水雷位置とが合致したところでスイッチON！真上の敵艦を爆破します。
