松月桜は、里桜の代表品種で花は大輪の八重咲き、最初淡桃色ですが、次第に白色になります。
花弁数は２５枚程で葉と花が同時に咲きます。 花と新緑が大変綺麗です。
植える場所は、日当たりと風通しが良く肥沃な土地が適地です。
